Interesting Observation of the Day

One Million Moms, the organization that tried to get JC Penny to fire Ellen DeGeneres as the company's spokesperson because she is openly lesbian, has barely more than 40,000 "Likes" on its Facebook page.  On the other hand, the Facebook page of Ellen DeGeneres has well over two million "Likes."  Maybe they should change their name to Forty Thousand Moms.

I personally prefer it when the right wing loons show their true colors. I'm sure the misogyny and racism may play well to their base, but I think (hope) that the reasonable segment of the population can identify hate from this distance.

Makes you wonder if Penny's senior management thought to weigh alienating 400,000 customers in order to attract 2 million?
