Sometimes it's worth doing even if there's little hope of success.
I'm glad you didn't resist.
thank you! I had the same thought.... :)
It is just a matter of time until someone says that the fires are payback for the protests.
That was great!
Thanks all! Glad you like it.How that I think about it, that picture makes me think of the land of Mordor in Lord of the Rings.
...that picture makes me think of the land of Mordor in Lord of the Rings.Yeah, if it didn't have that big city laid out below like that.
SI, those aren't city lights, those are the torchlights of Sauron's orcs!
Ah, yes. I misremembered Sauron. And his torches. In all seriousness, though, I had an email from an old high school friend of mine that lives out there, who almost lost his house. For some reason, the fire traveled all around his home, even burning up the palm trees in the back yard, causing him to evacuate the home a number of times, but it eventually bypassed the structure. He's not very religious, though he was brought up Catholic, as was his wife, so maybe god spared him? Or maybe he was just lucky. I'll go with the latter theory.
Nice, You should write headlines for "The Onion." By the way, just discovered your blog this evening. Nice analysis of Stark. Ever visited Debunking Christianity?See also my google reader page:edbabinski
